Joanne & Alan Carruthers will offer you a warm welcome to East Farm and the very comfortable Old Dairy Cottage which can be reserved for your short break or holiday We believe that we have created a tranquil high quality retreat away from the hustle and bustle on our working farm. The Old Dairy is next door to the farmhouse and has its own entrance and garden/patio area with magnificent views over the Solway to Scotland. The bedroom is a room with a view.

The beautifully appointed bedroom is spacious and the shower & toilet is en suite.
Views look out over the field to the Solway and beyond to the Scottish hills.
The open plan Lounge kitchen and dining area make great use of the space and retain some original features. A quiet location with views out on to the gardens from both sides and a sheltered patio making the most of the views.

Crosscanonby sits just above Allonby which is the 'Jewel on the Solway Coast' and it is an ideal base for touring the English Lake District as well as the Cumbrian coastline - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If history is what you want then you will have to go a long way to beat the 11th century church of St John the Evangelist hidden away in this hamlet of Crosscanonby. With the historic City of Carlisle and the Roman Wall close at hand. Roman Maryport, the saltpans of Allonby and the Roman milefortlet 21 between us and the sea.
